I love the desktop Notion calendar but the mobile version doesn't let you view more than three days at a time for some reason so that's a big downside for me (unless I just haven't figured out how yet)
Sounds like VA work has been a good change of pace! Sometimes when I feel stuck with my sticker shop I’ll watch a vlog of someone else running their art business. My fave is The Sugar Belle on YT, she’s funny and her videos are mostly just her thinking out loud through her ideas and testing products/materials. Reminds me that ✨literally no one✨ nails their creative idea on the first try, so might as well take the pressure off myself
aw MJ what an absolutely major week for you!!!! look at how much you’re doing to move your life forward and revel in it, please 💖 it may feel uncertain but we’re so so proud of you.
and very glad to have contributed the name hahaha it’s so true!!!
I’m very much in the middle of overthinking a pivot to my online presence, so I really connected with the part you wrote about saying goodbye to Bare Minimum Mondays (how I found you btw but not why I stayed!)
I’m curious about renting your brain—such a great idea! 👀🧠
obsessed. I'd pay to rent your brain just to meet you and share a stream-of-consciousness yap fest. maybe consider that as another revenue stream lol and I love the "make something shitty" - this isn't the first time you've mentioned it. so much so that I took your advice from a previous post and decided to just DO THE THING instead of letting the perfectionism take over. I made a small post literally today and feel so accomplished! all that to say THANKS MJ! your advice really is helping, so I hope you know there are little freaks like me scattered across the Internet talking your words into our daily practice. and it works.
Been on the hunt for the easy long form video >clips pipeline and I think riverside is what a lot of people are using. Ai automatically pulls clips and jazzes them up from your recordings and you can also upload videos.
Love that you found the courage to take a break from bare minimum Monday posts (although I'm a huge fan haha)! I think Instagram has made artistes/writers believe that they must continue to keep doing something just because the algorithm or the fans like that one specific format. But creativity is so much bigger than that!
Also: thank you for saying "Media worth mentioning" and not "Content worth mentioning" xD So many instagram movie/tv show reviewers use that word now, and i hate it so much!!!!
Also -- thank you so much for your kind words. I didn't realize it would take actual courage to stop posting them until I actually did! It's hard to let go of things that are "working" but ultimately it's how we grow 🤷🏻♀️

Omg I've never heard of her, I'll have to check her out. I've never realized why, but this is definitely why I like small business vlogs too!
Decentering the grind of IG 🫡🫡 love this for you
RIP!!!!!!!!

Oh god I just watched the "woman doesn't realize her Tinder date is a killer" and idk why I do this to myself
EXACTLY -- I watched one randomly a few weeks ago, then my YouTube algo was flooded with them... and it's all I've been watching but IDK why?????
